We’re a Tonbridge removals company with one idea behind everything: a move should be thorough and careful, with every detail accounted for — from the first survey to the last box off the van.
Most people we meet have a moving story that went sideways — a vague phone estimate, a van too small by half, a box that never turned up or a mirror that arrived cracked. We built Tonbridge Removals to be the opposite of that. Not louder or flashier, just thorough: a proper survey, a full inventory, careful handling, and a warm team who take the time to get it right.
Rooted in Tonbridge
Tonbridge is our patch, and it’s a town of proper houses — Georgian and Victorian places around the High Street and the castle, family homes in the grammar-school catchment, and newer builds on the edges, with the villages of Hildenborough, Hadlow and Leigh just beyond. We know the narrow loading spots in town, the lanes out to the villages, and the kind of period-home contents that need real care. That local knowledge is part of what “thorough” means here.
What we do
We handle house moves at standard and full-care levels, office moves for local businesses, and specialist fragile & antiques handling for the delicate things a Tonbridge home tends to hold. We pack as much or as little as you want, and store when the dates don’t line up. Alongside the local work we run a European arm — road moves from Tonbridge to France, Italy, Spain and Portugal, with the customs paperwork handled.
How we work
One careful team, start to finish. The person who surveys your move is part of the crew who plans it, so nothing gets lost between the quote and the day. We turn up when we say, protect your home as we go, and treat your things the way we’d want ours treated. If something changes — and on moving day it sometimes does — we tell you straight and sort it.

We’re a removals firm, plainly. We carry goods-in-transit and public liability cover as standard, and we’ll explain what it means before you book. We won’t quote you a price on a web page, because no two moves are the same and there’s no pricing page here; what we’ll do is look at your actual move and give you a clear, written, itemised quote you can trust.
