The route across the Peninsula
Out on the A21 and M26 to the M25, we cross the Channel and drive the length of France to the border near Biarritz, then down through Spain. For the south of Portugal the natural line is across the west of Spain and down — towards Salamanca and into central Portugal for Lisbon, or further south through Seville and across to the Algarve. For Porto and the north it’s a more westerly run through Spain to the border above the Douro.
